Matt,

So, this is a complex metaphor for mapping - the galaxy of products. What I find missing is your, (Matt Anderle's) experience of mapping. The idea extends literally from the deepest ocean to the farthest star, but the human experience is missing. What are the stops along the way that might offer me a sense of self reflection? A cognitive map from someone in an urban setting often depicts fence lines, gas stations, the red brick building on the corner. All of these things bring a sense of human scale, relative proportion. The layers of this type of map are simple, but reveal that someone has traveled that path before. There are no complex metaphors or theoretical entanlgements. Someone once said, "if you need a specialist to explain the details of a peace agreement, it is highly likely that there is no peace agreement".

I suggest you find your personal experience within this complexity, and try to reveal that, simply.
